7 Secrets of Happy People

Ever notice that happy people also tend to be healthy people? Do you know people who always seem cheerful and are fun to be around? People that make you smile?

Have you ever wondered: what’s the secret?

Science shows that happy people are healthier too.  So how do they do it?

What common behavior rules do happy people follow?

Here are 7 secrets to a happy life:
  1. Say “yes” to social ties and doing things with others. Celebrate even small occasions with family and friends because relationships between us fulfill and enrich life. Make it a goal to connect with at least one friend or even someone new every day, and talk about good stuff, not bad.
  2. Give Thanks! Make a list each day of three things you’re grateful for – big or small. Think of simple pleasures like sunshine when rain was in the forecast; a tasty free sample at the grocery store; your favorite song on the radio. Be grateful for joys big or small.
  3. Look at the bright side. Find the silver lining even when things don’t go the way you hoped they would. Focus on the things that go right, because they are what make life fun.  Be happy. Ignore the things that go wrong. Yes, bad stuff happens. There is no time for angry thoughts when things don’t work. Move on.
  4. Lend a hand. Help someone else with something. People who help others tend to feel happier. Always be on the lookout for ways to help others.
  5. Find joy in movement.
Exercise gets the senses moving, gets blood flow going, and floods the body with endorphins — the feel-good hormones. It also clears the brain, and releases stress and anxiety. So, get moving some way every day. Use it or lose it.
  6. Talk nice to yourself. Are you beating yourself up because you expect too much?  Research shows that positive thinking changes brain function. Remember nobody is perfect; mistakes do sometimes happen.  It’s not a perfect world, and that’s O.K.
  7.  Create something or play. Play a board game. Play guitar. Play ball with your dog. Doodle or draw something. Do something fun or silly at least once every day. Play time is good for you.
These are just some fun tips that help keep us happier and healthier; along with Twist 25 DHEA cream. May you have a healthy, happy 2019!

Science shows DHEA allows deep sleep – Good Sleep = Good Health

More than half of adults in America say they do not sleep soundly at night. Many cannot fall asleep; some wake during the night and toss and turn, unable to go back to sleep. As a consequence, they do not get adequate REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, which is the deepest of the five levels of sleep during which we dream and many of the regenerating functions of sleep occur.

Sleep is very important in determining not only how rested we feel but, as a result, mood, mental sharpness, productivity, and health improve–if we sleep well. Our sense of well being, mood and energy depend upon whether we get deep sleep at night. It is well known that people that do not sleep well are at a much greater risk of developing high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Health experts suggest that adults should sleep 8 hours per night.

So many choices …
There are a number of sleep aids on the market: sleeping pills, special beds and pillows, machines that make background noise conducive to sleep, continuous positive air propulsion (CPAP) systems, breathe right strips and mouth pieces to help people sleep better at night.

Research shows DHEA improves deep (REM) sleep.
Medical research done by Dr. E. Friess and others shows that “DHEA administration induced a significant (P<0.05) increase in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, whereas all other sleep variables remained unchanged compared with placebo condition.”

So, if DHEA improves REM sleep, helps reduce abdominal fat, improves cardiovascular health, increases bone strength, and supports the immune system, how should one use DHEA? Important question. Read on …

DHEA must be provided to the body the right way to allow the benefits it can provide to occur.

DHEA must be provided to the body the right way  as a bioidentical cream applied on the skin and absorbed in the skin. A properly made, pharmaceutical grade, bioidentical DHEA cream absorbed in the skin works best.

Go natural.
The reason that supplementing DHEA in the skin works so well (as opposed to taking a pill), is that DHEA is actually metabolized in the skin. DHEA is what the body makes naturally, applied where the body makes and uses it naturally.

Oral DHEA supplements are largely eliminated by the liver, and what little DHEA does enter the bloodstream is DHEA sulfate (DHEA-S) rather than free DHEA. DHEA-S is not bad. It’s just not near as beneficial as free DHEA. Since a lot of DHEA is processed by the body in the skin naturally, DHEA applied on the skin—in a specially made cream called Twist 25—is what the body uses, applied where the body uses it

Twist 25 DHEA Cream is bioidentical DHEA cream in a specially formulated coconut oil cream. Twist 25 is beneficial in many ways for people 35 and up. Twist 25 cream is laboratory tested and has no dangerous side effects.

So, if you are over the age of 35, start using Twist 25 DHEA cream. Sleep deeper at night and enjoy the many other benefits the cream provides. Sweet dreams!
