Improve Sleep with Twist 25 DHEA Cream
Half the adults in America say they don't sleep well at night. Many cannot fall asleep; some wake during the night and toss and turn, unable to go back to sleep. As a consequence, they do not get adequate REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, which is the deepest of the five levels of sleep during which we dream and many of the regenerating functions of sleep occur.
Sleep is very important in determining not only how rested we feel but, as a result, mood, mental sharpness, productivity, and health improve–if we sleep well. Our sense of well being, mood and energy depend upon whether we get deep sleep at night. It is well known that people that do not sleep well are at a much greater risk of developing high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
Health experts suggest that adults should sleep 8 hours per night.
So many choices …
There are a number of sleep aids on the market: sleeping pills, special beds and pillows, machines that make background noise conducive to sleep, continuous positive air propulsion (CPAP) systems, breathe right strips and mouth pieces to help people sleep better at night.
Research shows DHEA improves deep (REM) sleep.
Medical research done by Dr. E. Friess and others shows that “DHEA administration induced a significant (P<0.05) increase in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, whereas all other sleep variables remained unchanged compared with placebo condition.”

So, if DHEA improves REM sleep, helps reduce abdominal fat, supports a strong immune system, improves cardiovascular health, increases bone strength, What's the best way to use a DHEA supplement? What's the best DHEA dosage
Twist 25 DHEA cream
DHEA must be provided to the body the right way in the right DHEA dosage to allow the benefits it can provide to occur. DHEA must be provided to the body the right way as a bioidentical cream applied on the skin and absorbed in the skin. A properly made, pharmaceutical grade, bioidentical DHEA cream absorbed in the skin works best. Each full pump press from the Twist 25 DHEA cream bottle contains 25 MG bioidentical DHEA.
The reason to supplement DHEA as an absorbable DHEA hormone cream rubbed into the skin rather than taking DHEA as a pill is that DHEA is actually metabolized naturally by the body in the skin. DHEA is made naturally in the adrenal glands and processed into many other hormones in the dermis.
Oral DHEA supplements are destroyed by the liver, and what little DHEA does enter the bloodstream is DHEA sulfate (DHEA-S) rather than free DHEA. DHEA-S is not as beneficial as free DHEA. DHEA is processed by the body in the dermis (skin) naturally. So DHEA applied on the skin and absorbed into the skin in a special DHEA hormone cream called Twist 25—is what the body uses, applied where the body uses it with no dangerous side effects.
Twist 25 DHEA cream is bioidentical DHEA cream in a specially formulated coconut oil cream. All the ingredients in Twist 25 DHEA cream are from plant sources. No petroleum byproducts. No parabens. No cyclodextrins. Twist 25 cream is laboratory tested and has no dangerous side effects.
So, if you are over the age of 35, start using Twist 25 DHEA cream daily to sleep soundly at night and enjoy the many other health benefits DHEA hormone cream provides.

DHEA Cream to Counteract Cortisol
To maintain optimal health and well-being, humans need adequate levels of dehydroepiandrosterone, known as DHEA. DHEA is the most abundant naturally occurring pro-hormone in the human body. DHEA levels gradually increase from birth to about age 25, when we are in our “reproductive prime” as humans. But after twenty-five, DHEA levels begin to decrease by about 2% per year. As an important prohormone, or building block for hormones, DHEA plays a crucial role in many body functions. Therefore, as levels of DHEA decline, people notice they have trouble sleeping, lack energy or focus during the day, gain weight more easily, lose muscle tone and sharpness of mind. Low levels of DHEA are associated with “diseases of aging”, such as greater risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia, to name but a few.
Cortisol increases while DHEA decreases as we get older
Cortisol is known as the stress hormone. Cortisol is produced in response to stressful situations. It is the “fight or flight” hormone released to protect the body with an inflammatory response. The problem with this inflammatory response is that, over time too much cortisol on a chronic basis has many detrimental effects. Since we gradually make less and less DHEA after age 25. On the otherhand, we gradually make more and more cortisol as we get older. Humans are at their healthiest, feel best and are at lowest risk of disease – cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression and cancer when the DHEA to cortisol is at a ratio of ten to one (10:1) according to Dr. John R. Woodward, M.D.
Everything, from driving in rush-hour traffic to dealing with an upset friend or co-worker,
can cause stress in our lives, producing more cortisol. Elevated cortisol levels over time can lead
to impaired immune response, energy drain, feeling bloated, low energy, weight gain and
feeling washed out. Cortisol can also
adversely affect cardiovascular health, blood glucose levels and bone
strength. High cortisol levels can lead to the development of Metabolic
Syndrome, which has been shown to lead to obesity, high blood pressure, and higher cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
DHEA counterbalances the negative effects of cortisol.
DHEA and Cortisol
DHEA is the only thing in the body that counterbalances the negative effects of cortisol. There is a great article about “Adrenal Exhaustion” by Dr. Christiane Northrup, MD, describing the all common usual life scenario of high cortisol with low DHEA so common adults. Given the gradual declines in DHEA and the gradual increases in cortisol as we age, using DHEA cream daily make sense.

June is Men’s Health Month
Men - fathers, sons,
grandfathers, husbands - We celebrate Father’s Day on June 19th this
year; but also, the entire month of June has been designated as “Men’s Health Month”.
The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to increase awareness of common
preventable health problems, help men avoid them by encouraging early detection testing, and learn how to maintain good
health by doing things that contribute to good health. …good healthy
lifestyle choices. Because, as we’ve all heard “An ounce of prevention is worth
a pound of cure”. And, as we often say at Health2Go: It is all the little things
we do each day that make a big difference in time.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has determined that Heart Disease is the #1 cause of death for men (and women) in not only the U.S.A. but the world. That alone is a striking fact, but men are almost twice as likely to die from heart disease as women. So Men, let’s take on the biggest health problems first – heart disease, cancer and stroke.
The top risk factors for heart disease are gender and age, which we cannot do anything to control; but we can dramatically reduce the risk of heart disease by eating a healthy diet and exercising and maintaining DHEA level.
Interesting new research about heart disease has shown that contrary to conventional belief: cholesterol level is not as problematic as poor diet, lack of regular exercise and chronic inflammation.
In this exceptionally interesting article, the new view is “Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessels and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.”
DHEA is the only thing in the human body that counterbalances the harmful inflammatory effects of high cortisol levels. Dr. John Woodward, MD says “For optimal health, the DHEA to cortisol ratio should be 10 to 1.
So to reduce the risk of heart disease, eat a diet high in fresh green and colorful vegetables, exercise every day, and apply Twist 25 DHEA cream daily to reduce inflammation and support cardiovascular health.
The #2 killer for men is cancer. A healthy diet and exercise and maintaining good DHEA levels has been shown to significantly reduce the risks of cancer.
The #3 cause of death for men is stroke. A very important risk factor for stroke is hypertension (high blood pressure). So it makes sense that controlling high blood pressure is crucial to reduce the risk of stroke. Conveniently, it turns out that the behaviors we have just described above that reduce the risks of heart disease and cancer also reduce the risks of stroke.
So let's all celebrate Men’s Health Month, by helping men stay healthy, active and alive by encouraging eating a healthy diet high in a wide variety of green leafy colorful vegetables, getting some exercise for 30 minutes to 1 hour every day, and applying Twist 25 DHEA cream daily.
Happy Father’s Day and have a great Men’s Health Month!
